I was very concerned about the bad reviews on the slow cooking programme but I cannot fault it at this early stage. I am yet to try the sous-vide programme but have every confidence that it will do what I expect of it. It is a smart looking unit and fits into my appliance cupboard easily. I am happy with my purchase.

The temperature control in the Sous Vide mode is inaccurate and the digital temperature display is also inaccurate . These weer both checked with accurate digital thermometers . The sunbeam accuracy in sous vide mode is +/- 5.0 degrees centigrade which is well outside the definition of sous vide control of +/- 0.1 degrees centigrade .

As the menu describes you must sous vide some meats up to 24hrs otherwise it wont taste the way its meant to having said that once you follow all the instructions the flavors are all there.
