Nice little router with lots of features. Two USB ports that support dongles and mass media with samba sharing or FTP, detachable antennas, separate LAN and WAN ports. Despite looking like plastic the outer shell is aluminium giving it a really luxurious feel, not that you'll be picking it up often anyway. The configuration web page is elder god tier. The settings are all laid out in logical categorisation on the left sidebar at all times. Every page you go to has an easy to understand blurb on what each setting does, while not omitting any important information. When you're dealing with some misconfiguration on a network, these blurbs will save you so much time. I cannot stress this enough, as most other routers either don't have this information readily accessible in the time you need it or the explanation they give is too technical and difficult to parse then and there when you're just trying to fix your internet. But do note that due to EU/US regulations, when you update your firmware you will lose access to most of the channels on the 5Ghz WiFi. Even though on older firmwares you could select your region and be given access to the appropriate channels, they changed the behaviour to just lock you out of all channels but the ones in the 38-46 range (channels normally go up to 158 in most regions). For a well priced Router with easy set up and enough power for average 28sm two story home you cannot go past the Archer C7. Great Unit. (Note to the unschooled this is not a Modem & Router. It is a pure Gigabit Ethernet + Wifi Dual Band router. I have viewed other Negative comments regarding this product and it is from people who do not know the difference. Ask questions before you buy and then bag items!!)

This product is great but be aware it doesn't have a modem. It never states that it does but most similar products have a built in modem, this caught me out. Hooked it through my old router/modem and works fine with a stronger signal and bigger range, but just don't miss that detail like I did.

The signal strength is great, I am now able to watch netflix via wifi to a media player. Programming however is a pain, as I needed to join an existing network. It is not the friendliest of progams and did take some time. It also caused issues with my network but I was able to overcome these with adjusting some settings.
