Luis Majano is a Computer Engineer with over 10 years of software development and systems architecture experience. He was born in San Salvador, El Salvador in the late 70's, during a period of economic instability and civil war. He lived in El Salvador until 1995 and then moved to Miami, Florida where he did his Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering at Florida International University. Luis currently works for ESRI (Environmental System Research Institute) and resides in Rancho Cucamonga, California with his beautiful wife. He is also the President of Ortus Solutions, a consulting firm specializing in Adobe ColdFusion, Java development and all open source professional services under the ColdBox stack. He is the creator of ColdBox, Codex Wiki (www.codexwiki.org) an open source enterprise wiki system, and contributes to many open source ColdFusion projects. He is also the Adobe ColdFusion user group manager for the Inland Empire.
