Author Derin Attwood has, in the words of Oscar Wilde's Lady Bracknell, been 35 for years. Like Lady Bracknell she loves an audience, and adores organising those around her. With children as strong-willed as she is, and reluctant to follow her guidance, there was nothing left for her to do but create a number of families who would comply. Sadly they proved to be equally determined to go their own way. Hence she simply writes down what they do and say, with an occasional push towards an extra exciting adventure. She does this from Whangarei, New Zealand, where she lives with her cook/gardener husband.
