The second in a series of writings by T.L. Daniel. It spans 30 years of writings containing many different aspects of life and many different feelings and philosophies. Some of the writings are from early on in life and had been previously lost while others are from a time more recently just before and after the author had open heart surgery. Many different feelings in life are covered in this passionately written book.
T.L. Daniel is a native of Virginia where he has lived most of his life except for a stint in the military. He is extremely passionate in his writing which is not sugar coated but sometimes called raw and powerful. Inspired by events in his life and those around him, he paints a picture in your mind of the feelings he dealt with thru those times. Nothing is left out in this series of books, life, death, love, hate, dreams and aspirations along with inspirations and his Tonyism as they have been named by friends, short philosophical thoughts to ponder. As you read his work and see his photos, you will see that he has an eye for beauty, a way with words and his life like most all others has been filled with both joy and despair. He will tell you to read it once, read it again because every word has two meanings and nothing he writes is to be taken at surface value. There is always a deeper meaning. HERE ARE A FEW EXCERPTS A BRIEF MOMENT IN TIME A brief moment caught in time, not with a camera But with the writers pen.... A picture described in words, not in plain sight But instead seen by the minds eye... A brief moment caught in time, saved forever But left for your own interpretation A brief moment caught in time, heard thru your own inner voice But written to open your imagination I HAD A FEAR I had a fear of being unaccepted until I forged my way into an acceptable life I had a fear to talk until I learned to speak once I had something to say worth hearing I had a fear of death or that of an empty life until I died and came back to a full life and I know now that death is not scary I had a fear of the pain life can bestow upon me until I learned that I don't have to feel pain I had a fear of being alone until I became my own best friend and realized that by myself, I am never alone IMAGINATION Serenity in the valley Tall grass covered my feet As a child I used to run away Where all my dreams ran deep From a wilderness adventure To a pirates cove and treasures lost The imagination of a child Innocence was taken at such a cost Serenity within my mind As I recapture those memories And realize there's no need for sadness Since those adventures are still with me Yes, they have changed over the years But yet such an imagination remains Serenity in my mind Wipes out any old days of pain I HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS BOOK AND ALSO MY FIRST BOOK WORDS OF A LIFETIME. BOTH MAKE FOR SOME GREAT READING!
