Having moved away from Merseyside, he now lives in West Sussex. Stephen Done has been a Liverpool FC fan for 40 years and the curator of the Liverpool FC Museum at Anfield. Having trained in fine arts, he worked as a photographer in Bristol before moving to Merseyside. He was one of the contributors to The Official Liverpool Illustrated History.
