Becker Drane may have the coolest job in The World, but he's struggling to keep up with his rmal life outside of The Seems. He's so busy Fixing that his Me-2 spends more time with his family than he does. And even though he's supposed to keep his life in The World and The Seems separate, he can't stop thinking about the girl he met during his Mission in Sleep. And the Missions aren't exactly getting easier. When a bomb explodes in the Department of Time, Becker is called in to take over for a more senior Fixer. But the bomb has created a path of destruction Becker could never have imagined. And if Becker can't Fix this Mission in Time, he might t have to worry about balancing life between The World and The Seems anymore. . . .
Michael Wexler and John Hulme are the authors of The Seems: The Glitch in Sleep and The Seems: The Lost Train of Thought. They have also edited a short story collection for adults, and authored other works of adult nonfiction. This is their first series for younger readers. Michael and John both live in New Jersey.
