The Summer of Our Awakening describes a grandmother's spiritual quest to understand how to pull ourselves awake in eugh time to avoid environmental collapse and restore our earthly home.
Linda Marie Whitesitt is a violinist, teacher, musicologist and writer. The coauthor of The ARTS Book, she is a recognized author on arts integration as well as women's organizational and financial support of classical music. Linda's writing and her life have been inspired by her pioneering Montana grandmothers. From both she learned to be a lover of mountains and music, flowers and trees, poetry and prose. Linda lives in Berkeley Springs, WV with her musician husband, Bennett Lentczner, and their two cats, Omar and Heshie.
