In the first Spencer Hardesty Novel we meet Spencer who is a great private investigator and a good man, but a death in his family has changed something inside of him. He just doesn't think very much of humanity as he kws it. Then a young man shows up at his door and he embarks on the case of a lifetime. His visitor is a psychic in communication with souls on the other side and he asks Spencer to help them with a problem. It seems an unfiltered soul has gotten in somehow and is disturbing the very essence of heaven and making existence for some of the inhabitants a living hell. Will this job be the death of him or is it only a fool's errand that takes him to the edge of where? It's a steep learning curve for Spencer Hardesty, but it's t a leap of faith. This is his own personal leap of hope, a leap that may make his own life worth living again.
