Not a lens you'll use a heck of a lot being a s...uper wide. It is nicely sharp however. Focus is good, not particularly slow. Works well for shots of the milky way - it is decently fast at f2.8! There isn't really a lot to say about it. It is a decent lens. You can get better, but you have to pay around 4x more to do that. Not found any issues whatsoever.

Best and favourite lens I own, It's ultra wide a...ngle so you must be aware of the distortion however I love the effect of distortion on some of my portraits, it's perfect for landscapes, architectural, personally I use it for night club photography as well, I simply love it
The Tokina AT-X 11-16mm f/2.8 Pro DX Lens for Nikon was purcha...sed specifically to photograph the Aurora Borealis. This required a wide angle lens that would operate in very low temperatures. The lens performed well producing quality colour images in -17 Degrees Celsius.
This lens is one of the best in its class, with spectacu...lar clarity, minimal distortion and great build quality. The first thing you notice is just how heavy this lens is, and the huge front glass element really dominates the lens
