Wilting is a short story about a man named Michael. After being accused of murdering his family, Michael was committed to Shriekville Asylum to live out the rest of his days alone. A year past and Michael encountered ather patient named William. After losing a simple card game Michael agrees to teach William the ropes to survive the unethical treatment of the Asylum in hopes that they escape back to their lives on the outside.
Ray Decker Jr, (born 20 October 1990), is an American short story and novelist and the CEO and founder of Rowland Press, an independent publishing company. Currently known for his chilling short stories 'Wilting' and 'Wilting: Dismay Edition.' Born in Wellsburg, New York, Decker didn't consider his writing a serious career until after self-publishing his first short story, 'Wilting' in April of 2016. After, he has dedicated his adult life to creating a horror, thriller, suspense, and general fiction novels and short stories.
