Specifications for New iPhone 7

Apple's latest models are the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus. The iPhone 7 screen size comes in at 4.7 inches, with the iPhone7 Plus screen size measuring 5.5 inches. You can choose from 32GB, 128GB and 256GB storage sizes and can buy the phone in jet black, black, gold, silver and rose gold.

Perhaps the most interesting aspect of the iPhone 7 specs is that neither version of the phone will have a dedicated headphone jack. Instead, earbuds will connect through the same port that isused for charging. At the presentation Apple also unveiled wireless headphones called AirPods that will be sold separately.

Apple displayed several other iPhone 7 features as well. The phones will be dust and water resistant and come with anew and improved camera. The iPhone 7 Plus camera has two lenses, one of which is wide angle and one of which is telephoto.

How do you choose the iPhone for you?

With a wide range of iPhones currently on the market, it can be tricky working out which one to buy. Comparing each option side-by-side can be helpful for anyone unsure of their options.

Capacity: Capacity ranges from 8GB (on older style iPhones) to 256GB on the new iPhone 7.

Colour: Older iPhones were available in black or white, the iPhone 5C is available in pink, yellow, blue, green or white, the iPhone 5S and iPhone 6 range come in Silver and Space Grey, while the iPhone 6S range added Gold and Rose Gold to the mix.

Size: Over the years, iPhones have become slimmer and sleeker, offering larger size screens. The 6 Plus, 6S Plus, 7 Plus have a screen size of 5.5 inches. The standard 6 and 7 models come with 4.7 inch screens.

Features: iPhones offer an array of features, alongside some amazing photographic capabilities, offering HD and 4K video, and high quality stills on front and rear cameras.

Budget: Older style iPhones can often be picked up cheaper than newer models, but it all comes down to searching what’s available – something that’s easy on eBay!

What features should you look for when choosing an iPhone?
