    The ad did not mention the item came in child proof packets. The pictures showed normal packets. I contacted seller and he messaged me back quickly that due to new regulations all batteries had to be in child proof packaging. I returned the item, and seller promptly issued a return of funds. I only blame seller for not mentioning this issue. Nor did any other seller. Basically, a good seller that missed the mark one time for me.

    The item was as advertised and shipped quickly. However, these hearing aid batteries are packaged in new "child resistant packaging" which will take awhile to get used to. They are a bit less convenient than the previous dispensers. (The ad did not show this type of packaging. So, I suppose DuraCell has made a change.) Thank you.

    Arrived promptly, and they do seem to be fresh batteries, which I hadn't been sure of from eBay, but the expiration date is 12/2028! It was nice not to have to support that unnamed huge company to get this quantity of batteries at this price. Thanks. PS About the difficult packaging; my audiologist had warned me about this, as apparently a child ate some batteries and died. Save your old packages if you want to decant to them. Or put batteries in a pill pocket.
