Riding for the Disabled ACT Inc. (Pegasus) is an iconic charitable organisation providing therapeutic horse-facilitated programs and activities aimed at developing abilities for people living with a disability in the ACT and local NSW region. With a herd of 16 commendable horses, our horse-facilitated therapy programs support individuals with physical, intellectual and social disabilities. These beautiful artworks of the Pegasus ponies (and Charlie the farm cat) were masterfully painted by three members of the U3A ACT ‘Make-a-Mark’ Group 4 art group – Trevor Doust, Heather Domaschenz and Jay Kottege. An inspiring and challenging art project, the group did a fantastic job and we are very proud to be offering them for auction. Thank you to the artists for taking the time to capture our wonderful Pegasus ponies and for helping us raise some much-needed funds by donating them back to Pegasus to sell at auction.
