poor quality materials, there is a problem with the spiral pitch of the slots in the pins, wasted my money for inferior product

This product arrived as advertised but is not useable. Once the female connector is fitted to the fairing, per the positioning of the original factory fitting, the male portion cannot be "threaded" into the female. This should be a 1/4 turn proposition. I tried a few different procedures to install the units to no avail. The original Triumph male components do fit into the new female connectors but the new purchased male units will not assemble with the original Triumph female receivers. A conundrum to say the least. Before anyone asks, I did order the proper size fasteners for my 1999 Triumph Daytona 955i, 17mm length and proper diameter.
As to the overall quality the male pins come with a formed screwdriver slot as well as the stirrup style clips, one stirrup style clip came disconnected from the head of the male pin and one screwdriver slot was distorted while trying to use a good quality screwdriver to seat the assembly. The female connectors are constructed much better than the pins.

Black Dzus

Bought for a project I was working on. These were what I needed and the packaging kept all the parts where you could see every thing. However for me they ended up being too short.. The 17mm length is total of the fastener. I needed 15mm of length for the thickness of the panel by itself. I'm still giving them a 5 star rating and keeping them for extras for my bike which has lost a Dzus fastener in the past.Read full review...
