Give this game a chance!!!!!!!

A lot of people told me this was a bad game. I watched several videos and read several reviews as well. I wasn't gonna buy it based on the enormous amount of negative feedback I received about this game. I eventually saw it here on ebay for a great price and I decided to try it anyway. I discovered that most people never gave this game a chance. The main problem most people had with this game was the fact that you had to collect orbs from downed enemies in order to stay alive. It's like a timer that kills you if don't kill enough people. Any game with this feature has always irritated me to no end. Luckily, I found a cheat to add orbs to your meter whenever you want. If you use this code while playing the game it makes it a much better game. I'm not really a fan of cheats, at least not until I've discovered all I can about the game without them, but in this case I made an exception. If you take the time to find this cheat you will love this game. I'm not even a big fan of most shooters, but I like this game and I hope to beat it more than once. lost planet

Item was at great price, it has exellent graphics, story is not that challeging but this game exeeds in online mode. Has imense maps and a variety of them includin one that will take you to your nes years, have fun and hide and snipe anyone in sight. Go team on team up to 16 people with voice chat enabled to plan your attacks. Your are the target in fugitive so run for your life and post graph well its just plain fun. Good online fun, not so good game mode.

I really like the online play of this game. Maybe it is because people are harder to kill than the easy computer characters that run the same patterns like this is still the NES. It will not take you more than 6 hours to beat the game mode, but there is still plenty of fun to be had killing people on line. The graphics are really good on this game. The only other negative is the fact that everything moves so slow. Unlike games like call of duty 4 or RFOM, the characters seem to move in much slower motion. This is great for helping you kill other players, but while you are shooting them they are also shooting you. LOLRead full review...

If love mech, creatures & shooters this your game

Fun game to play, love the challenges of the boss, levels, creatures. The big thing i like about this game is the different mech you can pilot and each has a different ability. The 2nd cool thing is that you can use regular weapons or take weapons off the mechs and use them yourself. Lost Planet- Extreme Condition for PS3

As an adult that play's a lot of video games, I did have fun with this one. The controls are solid, the graphics good, it is set in an interesting, ever changing environment, and the gun play is entertaining. I was considering giving LP-EC an average rating, but the bosses are huge and each one requires a different strategy when trying to defeat it, so I am bumping it up to good. And the VS (virtual suit- an armored bot with guns and missile launchers attached ) are fun to equip. Long Levels but Lots of Fun

I enjoy this game very much. The one suggestion I would make is that it needs areas within levels where progress can be saved. The way it is, when you get stuck with the level's "Boss" you have to keep playing unless you want to go all the way back to the beginning of the level when you quit the game. And I must admit that even playing the "Easy" mode some of the bosses can be very challenging. However, the game is a lot of fun.Read full review...

i Lost my Planet!!!

Lost planet is a 3rd person shooter based in the future on a Snow planet. You have many battles in Mech suits (Big Robots you can control) or you can jump out and defeat you enemies with a large assortment of futuristic guns, ranging from a pistol to a laser cannon bigger than you character (yet somehow you can carry it!)You can even put the big guns on the Mech suits (Called VS in the game) and vice versa. The big boss's have a the classic weak spots that are behind them or have many weak spots and you gotta destroy them all. The Boss's and normal enemies tend to be bugs, human size to building size. There are some people that are enemies to. Online is great! Team Deathmatch is my personal favorite. Huge detailed levels! Many different Mech suits and the huge array of guns scattered about the map. 100% great game and a must buy!Read full review...

Review of Lost Planet Extreme Condition

Awesome game. Great Graphics. The concept is that you are battling local aliens and bad humans (ice pirates) for control of the planet and most importantly the thermal energy that all need to survive. Defeating enemies and aliens while blowing up mostly everything results in left over thermal energy that you collect to continue living and fighting for the mission's duration. Large aliens take many many hits to defeat and you must attack the weak areas of thermal energy located near the surface of their skin and made obvious by yellow or red patches. Concentrate fire on those and eventually you will win - that is if you survice. Learning to fight with the different VS' or armored suits is one key to winning and learning which weapon to equip for the enemy you're fighting is the other key in winning.
