Hurst products are well known to be the best over decades of product availability, but they are decreasing in quality. The last boot I bought about 5 years ago was of better quality,thicker rubber,larger and heavier chrome trim. Flat from storage

Boot was stored for must have been a long time with something heavy on it. The boot rubber was totally squashed flat. The protective film for the chrome trim piece was very dried out and stuck to the metal. I needed it to complete the installation and used tie straps on the shifter handle to stretch out the boot. I hope it will eventually return to it's correct shape over time.Read full review
