Check your clearance.
Fitted to a worked 202 blue motor replacing a 160 F thermostat with a 190 F ,now I can see the thermostat working on the temp gauge, the 160 F would be wide open all the time. One thing to be careful of is the clearance of the opening valve of the Hi flow thermostat ( which is larger than the standard thermostat ) to the thermostat mounting block, mine DID NOT clear when opening so I had to file the aluminium mounting block a few mm to clear. One other thing , when refilling your motor with coolant that first time after fitting the thermostat first fill the radiator up and then add some coolant through the heater hose to remove any air trapped in the top of the motor .

Just buy a Park tool.
Was not hardened ,it started to deform under load. The bore was not machined enough to clear the nut which made it unuseable. Just buy a park tool.
