Awesome book!
I decided to buy this for my US Women of Colors class in Women's Studies. Zinn knows what he's talking about. He's from the white patriarchy but he sure doesn't act like it. This book may depress you, but at the same time will enlighten you and make you want to go out and change the world for the better.

A unique and entertaining analysis on Fund.Christianity
5 of 5 found this helpful "Saved" possesses a unique analysis on fundamentalist Christianity and one's spirituality in general. Jena Malone is fantastic! Mandy Moore's great too! I think this movie adeuqately portrays how socialized we are to believe religion is black and white. It is very gray. For women, especially, we have survived male supremacists and we are still here. The women, Jews,homosexuals, and "troubled youth" portrayed in the movie all find a way to stay "religious" or "spiritual" by not believing what the messages of fundamentalist Christians. I good movie for Christians questioning or wanting to redefine their life with Christianity and other Christians. It also lets non-Christians know that there are good Christians out there...living, breathing, trying to do good by all people.
