Not ready for prime time
0 of 1 found this helpful I bought this bulb to get a brighter light out of my flashlights. It didn't work. There are two problems with this bulb. First, it's no brighter than an incandescent bulb, so from that perspective it's just an expensive flashlight bulb. Secondly, the height of the base (from the tip of the soldered connection to the flange) is slightly shorter than a standard incandescent flashlight bulb, so in certain flashlights the center contact will not make a connection and the bulb won't light.
This isn't the first time I am disappointed by "new" and highly hyped technology. LED lights aren't ready for prime time yet and I'm certainly not holding my breath that this thing will actually last 10 years (aka marketing hype).

Great purchase
4 of 4 found this helpful My purchase of the Sony AM/FM radio from Tampamark was a positive experience. The radio was presented well on eBay, with sufficient description and pictures to provide assurance that I know what I'm getting. The price was right. The delivery was quick. The product arrived with good packaging and was in good and working condition. This particular Sony radio is an older model and is no longer made. The adage that "they don't make them like they used to" applies to this radio because it is of sturdy construction and works great, both on batteries and on wall power. This one arrived in its original box and included the instruction manual, so it was like buying it new.
