A performance no serious music lover should do without!

Beecham's conducting of Mozart and Haydn is right up there with Leonard Bernstein's passion for Beethoven. His magnificent detailing in the slow movements is particularly memorable. And the sound quality is remarkably when one reads the liner notes and learns that these Mozart symphonies were originally released on 78 rpm from 1934-1940! I bought the other copy of this on Ebay last night because I wanted to make sure I always had a good copy of this set. Even cd's go bad occasionally.
