Corrosion resistant
I tried the simple spring type closer but only poor quality versions seemed to be on offer and mine soon failed. This one has a balanced design more able to stand a swing of 90 deg. or more, and after a week and slight simple re-adjustment has worked very well. Only time will prove reliability and the slightly rubbery rollers might be the eventual cause of failure. Delrin or some other self lubricating hard plastic would be a better choice I think.

Excellent finishing coat.
Provides a very subtle sheen to a previously tung oiled surface, when applied with fine grade steel wool.
