eye protection and UV protection
They actually fit under a pair of sunglasses I have. They are comfortable and I like that they block out UV rays, so sometimes I prefer them to sunglasses if I don't need the shading but still want the UV protection. I wear them for a few hours at a time while doing just basic work like washing dishes to keep eyes protected. Water can get in on side top a little.
