    a great read!
I expected to read this book and hear a lot of Yoko bashing, but Cynthia does a great job of telling her story without anger, and in fact showing us just why John Lennon fell in love with her in the first place. I remember thinking to myself at several points, "ya, that makes sense; I can see why she felt that way". Considering the times; her situation; and the fact that he was John Lennon who was capable of being cruel, you end up grieving with and for her when he did leave and refused (thru his rep) to speak with her for years, and then only did with Yoko present. He owed the mother of his child much more than that! Yet she still speaks lovingly of him. She is an interesting, and much more complex lady than we ever knew. She is a class act, and John left a lot more than just his wife when he left that day. (Maybe I'm biased-I could NEVER understand what he saw in Yoko anyway-other than to stick it to society). The book is a great read, especially if you lived thru that era, and is helpful in understanding the key players better.
