Too small - edge of protector twinkles and distracts in use.
The screen is well packaged but that's about the best of it. Covers only the area with live lcd pixels and not the bezel around it which makes distracting lines around the protector. I removed it an hour after putting it on as the lines would twinkle as the viewing position changed - option was have a viewable screen without a protector or an unusable screen with a protector.

Monitor repair
Monitor was picked out of trash and tested to find it only displayed a message to check cable connection. A bit of googling showed this is a known problem with a particular range of Samsung monitors and a link to this item was found. A bit fiddly to solder (Im not a good solderer) because the ic its no more than 6mm square but worked first time.
