Metal Rules!!!!!
1 of 1 found this helpful Great cd. Music was great. Had its fast moments and some great slow churning riffs. Singer was a mix of ZAO (where blood and fire bring rest) and a Cannibal Corpse low growl. I have a usual taste for faster like punk or hardcore, but it was right up my alley. Not to fast not to slow, but churned just right when it needed it. Positive lyrics versus the usual maggot eaten and death infested lyrics associated with this genre of music. Not like Cannibal Corpse meets Mary Poppins but a version of them you don't have to be ashamed of the lyrics to enjoy good metal.

BUY THIS CD!!!!!
This is one for the fans of old school punk and celtic music.
If you like Flogging Molly or Dropkick Murphys then it should be in your collection. Chock full of old school "oy" style punk and traditional celtic instruments it is definately a treat. Not all bagpipes but a good amount of madolin and even a flute. Combine these 2 musical elements and play it at Ramones speed and intensity and you have Flatfoot 56. The best thing is all the positive messages in the music and NO SWEARING. Nothing ruins music like swearing.
Some people may prefer their praise music the traditional way which is fine but i prefer mine at "11" and fists in the air and a generous amount of "pogoing".
Glad to see bands playing this kind of music, instead of the homoginozed, sterile music that so many Christian bands put out today.
Put you fists in the air for Jesus.
