Excellent Value!
When I needed a new charger for my laptop I was surprised to find one for the price that I paid for this one. I was hesitant to order, but decided to try it. It works as good or better than the original, and the weakness in the original that caused the cord to break near where it enters the computer seems to be reinforced on this one. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

100 Legendary Knives is a beautifully illustrated introduction.
I have split my adult life between France and the USA. I am not an avid knife collector, but I am a regular knife user, and appreciate a well made knife so I have slowly accumulated a small but nice assortment of knives of French and US manufacture. This being the case 100 Legendary Knives suited me as well as any book could. Originally written in French, it covers many classic French knives, but also gives plenty of attention to some of the better American knives. The illustrations are well-done. I liked it so well that I purchased a copy for my son who grew up in France and whose first knives were French.

Not Disappointed
1 of 1 found this helpful I have been using and restoring old Stanley planes for years. I have tried most of the block planes and the original 60/60 1/2 were always the ones I used most. I decided to spend a fairly substantial amount of money to purchase one of the new Sweetheart 60 1/2, and I was not disappointed. The plane worked nicely out of the box. I did eventually flatten the sole a bit and hone the blade, but it would not have been necessary. I like the lock down lateral adjustment. The extra weight and bulk of the plane makes it a very efficient chute board plane. I will keep it and it will be one of my major users.
