Fantastic device and water level sensor!!!
4 of 4 found this helpful I used this sensor on a plastic 55 gallon drum to let me know when it is nearly empty and it works perfect! All I did was correctly wired a 5V 1A power supply ($2) to the sensor's + and - leads. The red LED is on all the time and turns off when the water level reaches the sensor letting me know it is time to fill the drum back up. The sensor also has a signal out which can be wired to a relay switch to turn on a pump, sound an alarm, turn on a light, switch open or close a valve; the uses for it are endless especially if you use it with a Arduino project. One thing to remember is that it will NOT work with metal containers; it definitely does a great job on a plastic 55 gallon drum. I highly recommend it!!!

Great pump!
This pump works great even though I modified mine to use a higher voltage battery so I wouldn't have to replace D batteries any longer. The screw must be placed on correctly and will tighten up properly if you do it correctly. It's a great pump!

Rain Barrel faucet kit
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a perfect kit to convert a 55g plastic drum into a rain barrel with a faucet. Just remember if using with a plastic drum remove the spring from the hole saw. Grade A kit.
