A wonderfully small and versatile phone for everyday use.
I bought this phone because I can jog with it. It's small enough to put in your pocket and there is even an arm band so you don't have to hold it while you jog. Plus it doubles as an mp3 player. I like to have a cell phone on me when I'm out, so this is a great cell phone for me. Otherwise I would have to have two devices when I jog or go without a cell phone. And I don't like to go without, so it's a no brainer. It fits in the palm of your hand, very portable, thin, and easy to operate. You could have playlists and even play music via stereo on the phone. Also it’s not a touch screen phone, which I love, seeing how about every cell phone that comes out these days is touch screen. Plus it is Bluetooth capable.
The camera is only 2mp, so it won't be really great for pictures or video, but will do if you need it. And it does have internet capability, but the screen is too small to browse the web. Leave that job to your ipad. I switched from the HTC Wing that was pretty bulky and heavy, so this phone is hands down way lighter, smaller, and thinner than any smartphone. After using this phone for about 3+ years, I want to go back to any phone that’s any larger than this. It kind of hard to find a phone/ mp3 player/ very thin and small cell phone these days, so I'll stick with this phone for as long as I can.
Nokia made a lot of predecessors after this model and it seems like this XpressMusic line gets slightly larger and the later ones are touch screen. Make sure that you accidently don't sit on it, because then you'll have to replace the screen. I had to. I bought the replacement screen on Amazon and replaced the screen at home using a guide I found online. It was an aftermarket screen, so the color on it sort of looks like it is slightly tinted and not so vivid as before, but I'm happy to be using my phone again after that incident.
