Great for glutes, hips and calves
I am a bigger guy that has played a lot of sports. My hips and lower back take a beating and I always feel better after a session with this thing. It's bigger than the softball I am used to rolling my glutes out on but it still works very well. It's heavy and well made. If you're casual mobility person, maybe stick with the foam roller.
If you're heavier into lifting/running and rollers don't get all the knots out, this is a great next step before shelling out $200 a week on massages.
