Why I love my Nook ereader by Barnes and Noble
I bought this Nook because it is a well recognised brand. It's main feature for me is that it allows me to borrow books from libraries, and there are lots of places where I can buy books, although I cannot buy books from Barnes and Noble because I don't have an American address for my
visa card.
This is my second Nook, my first one being a 1st edition, which I have passed on to my friend, who has in turn purchased a Nook. The reason I bought a new one was because I like reading in bed and the glowlight facility is just right for me.
I did have a small problem adjusting to the smaller size and finding out how all the "controls" work, but it is really quite easy. It is especially easy to look up meaning of words.
What don't I like: Barnes & Noble send me (via wifi) books I can buy through them very cheaply - only trouble is they won't sell to me because I don't have an American address.
What do I like: Everything. Mainly that I can borrow books from libraries, and through the help of Calibre, can convert most formats to suit my ereader.
