Inaccurate and inadequate
Scales are not accurate and give different readings at intervals of a few seconds. I have returned them. This was my second attempt to get an accurate set of scales from Salter (the self-proclaimed market leader in the UK) - I tried 2 different models (by no means the cheapest) with the same results. In the past, this company was extremely reliable and good quality. I have kitchen scales and an older set of bathroom scales which I am replacing, both of which have been perfect for more than 30 years, from Salter. Why are their current products so poor? Is it because they are now made in China? I have now purchased a set of scales made by Beurer (German) which appear fine, at a similar price. It should not be this difficult to find an item as basic and banal as bathroom scales which simply do the job required.

Poor quality display - v. disappointing
The colours are extremely washed out with a blue tinge and there appears to be no way to adjust the settings in order to improve them. There is a setting for brightness and that is all. As a result, photos are not displayed in an adequate manner. I have had a similar-sized frame from another manufacturer for many years, where the display is of excellent quality, whereas this frame is extremely disappointing. Presumably a good illustration of the cliché: you get what you pay for
