Good printer until ink cartridge cover wears out
I have owned the same printer for about 8 years with no problems until recently the lid to the ink carriers both broke, one after the other. I ordered another used printer (same model) because I still had ink cartridges to use up and had the same problem with the ink carrier covers. Seems like after so many years of good service the plastic latch wears out and there is no way to use it without the cartridge covers tight. I tried taping them closed but it says no ink cartridge. I guess its true nothing lasts forever.
