Breezy - lovely nickname for her full name, i suppose she was like a breath of fresh breezy air to a cynical man reflective of the society we live in.
A truly lovely story. I have watched the movie twice now. yes there is an age gap but William Holden plays the part well and he looks well overall, plausible to be attractive and attracting a younger person to love him. Love the happy ending in spite of his struggles in accepting the age gap and what society's perceptions. The character Breezy spoke some really thought provokding thoughts that was clearly food for thought and William Holden expression and reaction symbolises this even to us the viewer. Many of her words gave food for thought. I lovely story, well worth it and seeing William Holden playing such a part
The Devil's Brigade DVD (2004) William Holden, McLaglen (DIR) cert PG

Yes understood the brigde was based on a true special forces that was the first precursor to such specialist missions
Really enjoyed it, no women actors really but it had a good theme and William Holden was good and so was his narration in it. The members of the original brigade died which is sad but their legend of their devilish cleverness did not but set the road to shape future special missions
