Great second book in the series
I read the first book of this series, "Memory Man" which sets the main character's abilities in the series but this book was more interesting as far as the story line. However I would recommend readers first read Memory Man and then this book "The Last Mile" will be more enjoyable overall.
The series really does have a unique slant, for the stories focus on a man than can never forget anything the encounters, reads or sees in his life. It is both a help and an onus he bears.
