Great investment and good timing.

History of the Great Composers by order of Birth and the reason for the sounds we hear today.
It's my opinion, that a large part of Humanity is missing out on the pragmatic aspects of the great writers of some of the Worlds best music. Perhaps it is a generational issue. Or maybe one is not exposed to classical composition at an early enough age to appreciate the nuance of a well crafted tune or melody. Classical composition is, in it of itself, an art-form, it is as tough to master as any vocational craft of today. Seldom can a gifted Carpenter be as masterful at that craft and be just as gifted as a great composer. In this case, it's either one or the other.
Harold Schonberg has managed to, by order of birth and period, build upon the composers, the life and times thereof, learning from the past and expanding beyond his elders for the greater good, an ever growing personal touch so to say, a regional addition to the library of some of the finest music ever written.
Schonberg writes of the composers in chronological order of birth and the influence built from one composer to the next, the ever expanding orchestra into the sounds we hear today. This fifty five year old tome is as important to the musical fanatic or simply a research source of a favorite composer. This book is a very good and simple read which leads to the ways and means of why the great classical music is what it is today.

Simple, fun, entertaining even for the little ones.
Even though you think you are out of the game, you can come back to win the whole thing. A simple version of a good, fun, clean game for guests and to one's company. The more players, the better. Pennies can substitute for lack of enough chips provided. Comes with a simple rule leaflet. "Left, Right, Center." A cheap form of entertainment. I bought five games at a time and handed them out. Now, I must reorder. Next time, I will order ten, maybe more. It's all a roll of the dice.
