sound quality is clear, power delivery adequate
for it's size and portability and cost UE Megaboom 3 meets my 5 stars performance grade. I can hear the song lyrics clearly. It's important of high grade quality when you can hear the lyrics crystal clear. Now there's the singer that contributes to the clarity of lyrics. Rap artists sometimes run their lyrics too fast and depending on back ground music it can be difficult to hear the lyrics clearly. But I've played various genre of music on my brand new UE Megaboom 3 all played crystal clear. Bass sound is also crystal clear. Absolutely no distortion thru 500 plus songs I've played. Previously I had the JBL 4. While it played ok as long as the songs did not have too much base. The volume setting on JBL 4 was 1/2 of the max I could hear a little distortion I the base. Not sure if the one JBL 4 I had was a lemon unfortunately it stopped working. There was power fully charge but no sound even after factory reset.
