Australian landscapes at it's best
This book is refreshing as there are too few art books on painting the Australian Landscape. There are many English books available but what about Australians painting the beautiful and sometimes harsh Australian landscape.
Jim presents information in a straightforward easy to understand manner and indicates his colour choices, perspective, composition and all the elements that make up a successful painting.
Quite a lot of his paintings are oils and I work in watercolour but that is O.K. as I believe they could be equally successful completed in watercolours.
Would I recommend this book - a definite yes.
