Even better than I expected!
This is a great coloring kit! It has two really thick and beautiful coloring books appropriate for adults or older youth. The art work is on one side only of each page. The pages are nice paper quality, not card stock, but not thin either. The art work in the books is really well drawn and has 64 pages! The art pencils are way better than I anticipated. I thought they would lack good quality as the kit seemed designed for young people. Not so! The pencils lay down nice, rich pigment and write smoothly. This is very nice quality for a kit designed for youngsters. The coloring books are nicer than many adult coloring books too. When you add all of this up, it is economical and would make a splendid gift for an adult who loves to color, or a teen or even pre-teen.

Great German quality art markers!
These markers are both reasonable and fine quality. I use them all the time in my adult coloring books that have heavier paper or for artwork I transfer to card stock to color. The colors are brilliant and don't blot or smear. These will bleed through normal coloring book paper so be sure to use a heavy paper like card stock between the pages so you won't ruin the next picture. These are also wonderful to use when making posters or coloring designs on cardboard boxes for kids. I drew some designs with these on flat, smooth rocks last year just for fun and they are still bright and vivid today! That's a fun project for kids bored in the summertime. I can't say enough good about these markers. They are dual tipped with a bullet point on one end and a very fine point on the other. Great for designing your own holiday cards too!

These are way better than I thought they'd be!
I bought these for a youngster in the family who likes to color. We decided to each color a picture with her new pencils. I was astonished at the quality of these colored pencils! Smooth application to paper, rich color pigment, full coverage without much pressure, blend well, shade well, 48 colors that don't repeat! What more can you want in a pencil set? I ordered two more sets for myself after trying these out. They will make a great addition to my coloring box. I'm not sure if these are oil based or wax based, but they are really smooth to color with and the colors are vibrant. I happily found this set of 48 on eBay very reasonably priced so I was able to buy two sets for less than another website is asking for just one set. Get 'em while you can!
