Great but suffered from shutter failure
3 of 11 found this helpful I've been using Canon products for years sans any failures for mainly personal use but have also used them for paid work. This is the first Canon fullframe mirrorless that I've owned and it quickly had shutter failure after a few days of minimal use. Had to return it, and I just can't recommend it and I just can't bring myself to buy another one because I'd be worried it would be unreliable. In every other way it is great in image quality and functionality for a "low cost" fullframe mirrorless. However, given that this and the R are Canon's first generation of fullframe mirrorless, you might want to wait for Canon's second or third generation as things will hopefully be better (whereas Sony's third generation are great as I owned the a7iii for half a year).
