Great microphone at a great price, but only second hand.
I bought this mic because my rode M3 didn't cut through the mix on stage. The EV PL80 leaves most of your voice intact and is more precise than the SM58. It it way better than the Behringer, it really lets you use it as an instrument: by changing the angle and distance you can control the sound. It has to be responsive, as a pianist i must feel it working as I'm sort of strapped in my position. It may be a little boomy when close and straight in but that could be my PA. It has improved my singing technique.

World of difference
I used to buy cheap or mid price sunglasses and they all blur the view. However in the shop this is not immediately clear. Also when sun comes in under sharp angles scattering often occurs. None of that with the Rayban. Even in heavy rain the view is clearer with then without them on.

Sturdy class 2 field calibrator
A class 2 Field Calibrator is as good as it is reliable. This one purchased 2nd hand and could easily pass the NATA test.
