Good Quality.
Bought these for my Analogue Mega SG. Having bought Retro-Bit aftermarket genesis controllers in the past, I figured these might be the same with a Sega logo. They're better. These are larger than the other R-B ones and the buttons feel better. They are a little smaller than the OEM 3 button controllers. While my old R-B controllers are perfectly functional (though smaller with a bit wobbly buttons) these are worthy of the Sega branding and will go nicely with your original genesis, FPGA system, or the like.

Okay, but not as good as OEM.
18 of 19 found this helpful As another reviewer mentioned, this hardware is different than the original joystick, which used optical sensors. The result is a cheaper product with less accuracy. For general gaming (like Super Mario 64) this is fine, but FPS games (like Goldeneye) can be difficult b/c precise aiming is a pain. I hooked up an original N64 controller with a tight stick, an old controller with this replacement stick, and a new generic aftermarket controller, then loaded Goldeneye. The OEM one works just as you'd expect. The aftermarket one is pretty bad (for precise aiming). The one with this replacement stick seems to fall somewhere in between, but still difficult to aim.
As far as recommending this product, that's a grey area. If you have an old controller with a busted stick and you just want to play Smash Bros. or Mario or Zelda it's a decent buy. Alternatively you can buy an new aftermarket controller from a retro-gaming shop for a few dollars more and it would do about the same, without the hassle of tearing apart a controller. I've bought several different ones over the years and they have all worked about the same. For precise controls I'd recommend springing for an original N64 controller with a tight stick and taking very good care of it. Save this stick and the aftermarket controllers for Mario Party punishment sessions.
This product is far from "bad", but it's true what they say, "They just don't make 'em like they used to."

Poor quality control and a little misleading.
These cards hold 1 MegaBIT (128kB) of memory, NOT 1 MegaBYTE. They're the standard capacity for PS1 memory cards so that's fine, just know what you're getting. If you play more than a handful of PS1 games, you'll probably need at least a couple cards. I bought a 2 pack and only one of them works. The other refused to format, so I threw it away. Given the fact 1 of 2 was DOA, I'll continue to use my old memory card as my primary and save the 1 new one for a backup. The price was nice, but I'm disappointed in the cards.
