3HP Air Pump
Ok, so to preface this review, i was aware it was a cheap unit. On installation i had to exchange the NPT style fittings on the output side of the unit, and on removal of the stock fittings i noticed a super flakey and breaky-aparty white silicone like substance. No idea what it is, but it was like a mix of sheetrock and silicone, i removed it for fear if it entering my compressor tank and stopping up my drain valve. On no fault of the manufacturer it did not directly line up with my original pump mounts, which wasn't much to rectify, but would have been nice. Next to lastly, either one: the flywheel is drastically out of balance, two: the crankshaft is bent or three: the crankshaft is unbalanced.....the symptom of one of these three possible mechanical perturbances is a massive vibration that shakes the pump, the ENTIRE 60gal tank AND the lean-too i have my compressor under VASTLY more violently than my previous pump, in fact if my compressor was not bolted down i'm certian it would have shaken itself out the side of it's little home under the lean-too. Lastly one of the head gaskets has started leaking less than 2 hours of service in. I can see a small amout of oil bubbling nup through the cylinder head and top of the cylinder. Additionally there were shavings of unknown substance inside the sump when i did a pre-installation inspection and was not able to remove them due to the small oil fill and breather port sizes. Other than these issues the pump works fine-ish and keeps my air at 150psi. For 60 bucks i guess i got what i paid for, and expect to be replacing it again soon after it's anticipated and expected dare i say "immenint"? brutal self demise due to either non-existant, or extremely lacking manufacturing standards. I will not buy one of these again, but i am glad i bought this one to prove to myself what a total peice it is. If this is all you can afford, it will....scratch that....SHOULD get you by untill you can get a proper quality unit. Hope this helps!!! :D cheers y'all

halfway as expected...
came with a dead battery, will only work in VERY driect light. otherwise in ok condition.
