Into retro radios? Want to start a collection? This is a good start!
I'm a gadget freak including memories of great transistor radios from the early 1960's so this was a "no-brainer". Fortunately I had a suitable small 110V to 240V adapter as we live in NC, USA and the "custom" plug into the radio mains socket was an easy and safe adaptation. Sound quality is surprisingly good thanks to large speaker. Only tried it so far on VHF but brings in lots of local FM stations. No regrets and will get well used.
