Good dependable pump
I am a Plumbing Contractor & this is the pump we install 99% of the time, just replaced the one in my own basement & in was in service over 8 years. When we have a lot of rain (like now) it runs @ least once every minute so it is understandable that the switch gave out, but the pump motor still runs. We could have replaced the switch but being used that heavily we just replaced the pump rather than risk a flooded basement.
