Good - but there are caveats
These are decent speakers for the usual price you can pick them up either New Old Stock or used ($30-$70). The two caveats that I have are: one, the volume knob on the center bar is notorious for failing. As these speakers are heat-sealed shut it is basically impossible to repair them. Once your volume knob dies, that's it: you're stuck using the Windows volume control for everything. The other gotcha is the connection to the PC. Your audio connection MUST have the right outputs to get the full surround sound capabilities these speakers offer! Do a web search for "Dell MMS5650 instruction manual" or "Dell MMS5650 setup manual" or something along those lines to figure out exactly where to connect the speakers. I used a three-to-one adapter and just plugged in to the main Line-Out jack on my PC initially, and while I got *loud* speakers, I didn't get *good* speakers. It wasn't until I started fiddling with the connections that I was able to get all the features these offer. Taking those two things into account, if you find a new-in-box set for a reasonable price, I do recommend picking them up. Just don't spend $100 or more; if you have the budget, buy something newer.
