Just my two cents
1 of 1 found this helpful Craftsman compressor and original motor z frame. This motor has the reset button mounted in the peckerhead which I had to turn toward the pump. Belt not long enough and motor peckerhead touching pump. Heavier motor and start-up will squeal the belt a little because it takes off. Compressor not as loud now. Had to reverse the leads to run CW. Most motors for compressors are not rotation reverseable. Lot heavier motor

Improvement over the one I took off because the plastic stripped out. Now they have a thin metal insert.
