Take a Lap
"Take a lap" - not favorite words to hear from your high school coaches, but they take on a much more positive meaning in this game. Mario Kart provides a variety of characters, race courses, vehicles, and excitement for all. As usual, the younger players will beat us veteran drivers at first, but with some practice, perhaps you will finish in first one day. You will enjoy the time spent on this game and with family members. I imagine it will be quite some time before I reach everything this game has to offer, but I look forward to it.

Sit in the Cockpit
3 of 3 found this helpful The accuracy of the controls are impressive. I do not pilot actual planes, but this gives you some sense of how difficult it must be. The difficulty of the maneuvers are enough to frustrate my experienced video game-playing daughter. I told her the frustration means the game is challenging.
There are also lessons to be learned about World War II if you take the time to read and listen to the material presented. I almost didn't buy the game because of a review I read on it, but the price was good so I bought it. I do not regret the purchase for one minute.
Around the same time I also purchased MLB Power Pros, and Madden NFL '08. This is the game I find myself reaching for when I want to play the Wii. And those two sports games are very good.
I recommend this game if you are looking for a war adventure without the gore and violence some of them display.
