Hello. My name is Brandon Waters. I have a passion for the animation industry. And I ve grown up being inspired to be an animator ever since I was little. I am also a bit of a retro gaming nerd. I do play current games, when I have time off work.

Arthur and the Invisibles (Sony PSP) Complete with Manual
17 May 2022
Pushes the PSP to its limits. But probably too much at times. (Possible region issues?)
This is a handheld port of the PS2 and PC versions of this game. And it's impressive to see how much of the original content made it on such limited hardware. The only differences I've noticed so far is that a few sections of the game have been cut out, and there's a multiplayer mode that's exclusive to the PSP. I'm playing this game, using a North American PSP, so I don't know if these issues are still a thing when played on a PAL PSP. But the only major issues I seem to be dealing with is the audio of music or characters skipping or cutting off completely when the game is loading something, or if too much is happening on screen. Also, during one of the quick-time events, the character models of Arthur and Selenia start to corrupt. Their arms and legs start to stretch and distort for no reason. LOL Overall, the game is still really fun. And even though it has it's issues, it's still a playable and faithful port. I'm still surprised this never was released in America.
ICE AGE DAWN OF THE DINOSAURS - PS3 VIDEO GAME FAMILY FUN ADVENTURE
16 August 2023
If you're a fan of the game for Ice Age 2, you'll love this sequel.
I grew up playing the previous game, based on Ice Age 2. Ironically developed by the same team who would work on Ice Age 3. The developers "Eurocom" have successfully retooled the previous Ice Age game engine to work for next generation consoles. And unlike Ice Age 2, you can play as almost every character from the Ice Age franchise. Ice Age 2 was basically a side story with Scrat, during the events of the movie, with minigames where you played as Sid, Manny and Diego. In the sequel, Sid and Buck are the main platforming characters. And Scrat is playable in a few nice 2D style platforming sections. Some of the music and game assets are recycled from the previous game. But the new music and reworked models are a major improvement from the previous game. Better animations during cutscenes. And the game runs at a consistent 60 fps, like the first game. If you grew up with the console version of Ice Age 2, and were a fan of it, I would highly recommend giving this sequel a playthrough.
Woody Woodpecker in Crazy Castle 5 (Nintendo Game Boy Advance, 2003)

The best out of the Crazy Castle Games (personally)
I haven't played any of the other Crazy Castle games. But aside from Crazy Castle 4, this games seems to have the most content. Considering how large the levels are, this is also the hardest of the Crazy Castle series. The character rights for each game in the series is a huge rabbit hole that goes as far back as Roger Rabbit on the NES in Japan. But despite a few issues with the controls, the music getting repetitive after a few hours, this game is a fun and tricky time waster.
