Kirby Tilt N' Tumble - Nintendo Game Boy Color
11 May 2017
kirby
This game was ahead of its time. It came out 6 years before the wii and it used some of the same features the wii did. Its like Monkey ball for wii. Its fun. If you like Kirby or have the Collection for wii, then this is right up your alley. Must buy for Kirby fans.

Tweeny Witches - True Book of Spells Complete TV & OVA - Brand New 8-Disc Anime
13 January 2017
Tweeny Witches
Opening: From the moment you see the artwork, you know it has its own intrigue and pull. A sense of appeal, wonder, and magic is in the air for those who are heartfelt. The prologue starts off with old first era mimicked art of prophecy that show witches, warlocks, and creatures of an old story that dates back before the age of tracking time could tell. Then, the 2nd opening's music and 2nd intro is full of tribal sounds of and adventure waiting to be discovered. The story edits in the opening are rich so you know you're in for a treat. Well done. Actual Anime: The actual anime story starts off with a basic girl in school who's heart longs for adventure and the pursuit of magic. It has a more positive tone than most other manga and anime out there. Its quite different. Instead of feeling like an old ancient world (of mythology, witches, and forests), it actually comes off as a world of its own with a few bizarre yet interesting creatures that are called "fairies" of different kinds that roam their world. The main character Arusu falls into a magical world (unknowingly) and meets two other soon to be companions named Shelia and Eva. Together they get into trouble and explore the world all in order to find Arusu's father and the mystery behind the book he gave to her named The True Book of Spells. The main story is in the first 3 volumes which is the "Core Collection" when bought alone. The 4th volume is the OVA (the "side" adventures) all called "THE ADVENTURES". The core collection and the Ova (adventures) together make up the "TRUE BOOK OF SPELLS COMPLETE". ------------ To me the main adventure is cool,...not as wild and imaginative as I would have hoped it to be but it will still touch the light hearted and give the heart felt what their expecting. The middle of the series kind of drags and slows down a bit, but you will still want to see it through to the end. The ending to me was kind of rushed, and I would have liked to have seen less machines and advanced technology in here but they didn't put as much as you might be thinking that they would. The side adventures is exactly what you thought the "main anime" would be, but the stories aren't that appealing. Its still fun to see the story extended. In my own opinion, the OVA and main stories should have both been swapped and remixed a bit to get more adventure and chemistry out of the pop. Its kind of like this....you see a commercial of a popsicle you'd like to try out,...you go and try it,...its good, but not to the point you'd hop right off the couch time you see it to go get it. You can wait till' the next check to go get it....but its still good to go get. Its still worth the purchase and watch if you like to follow 3 girls with a little differences between them that work together to help resolve a whole realm-threatening problem. ======================================================== Ratings: 1 - 10 Music: Wonderful,...has its own marking - 9 Story: Cool, a bit slow, then some side adventures - 6 Characters: The main characters are lovable, the support characters a few not many, and everyone else including the enemies are kind of basic - 7 Sense of adventure - 10 Actual adventure - 5 Action - 4 Resolve - 5
USED Game Music - The 3Rd Birthday Original Soundtrack [Japan CD] SQEX-10217 CD
16 March 2017
Parasite Eve: The 3rd Birthday
This is one of the best soundtracks I've heard in a while and is still as good as the day it came out. Its actually a very good reinterpretation of its previous ancestors Parastie Eve and Parastie Eve II. Anyone who just enjoys soundtrack compositions themselves and loves Parasite Eve's musical themes, then you'll love this. Yoko Shimomura (Kingdom Hearts), Mitsuto Suzuki (Final Fantasy XIII-2 / Lightning Returns), Tsuyoshi Sekito (Brave Fencer Musashi) are the main Composers and arrangers on this soundtrack. If you know any of the other works they've done, then you're in for a real treat. The hooks and melodies are so catchy, inviting, and loving, that you may either fall in love with them or may find them too personal for your tastes. Only a few of them are repetitive. Overall, again if you're a music lover then you'll love this soundtrack.
